“This prestigious location is the institutional headquarters of the oldest Venetian confraternity, established around the 8th century in devotion to the first patron saint of Venice. With a rich history from its inception to its current location, it has witnessed changes and growth. Now, it serves as an essential venue for art exhibitions, and in recent years, performances by Venetian musicians.” Maurio Giampieri

A Power Couple with Passion for Art

From a young age, Mauro was captivated by the titans of the Italian Renaissance. "Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, Donatello... The Italian Renaissance is one of the most beautiful epochs in art history," Mauro reflects. This passion, nurtured by Prof. Marianna Jurcova, his life and work partner, led him to organize the prestigious International PREMIO CITTA' di MONTECOSARO exhibition.

Mauro emphasizes the importance of attending to every detail in an art exhibition, "from conception to planning, from advertising to the aperitif." But even if this means lost hours of sleep, for him, "any sacrifice becomes a pleasure" when it comes to art.

His recent initiative, "ARTE VENEZIA," attests to his dedication. Scheduled from September 16th to 25th in the historic Scuola Grande San Teodoro, the exhibition will host artists from around the world, including the talented Michaela Litzka and Sarah Montani. These artists will showcase both physical and augmented reality digital works, a medium that is rapidly gaining ground in the art world.

Despite his excitement for new technologies, Mauro underscores the importance of the artist's soul: "At the center of everything, there must always remain the artist with their soul, emotions, and passions."

Lastly, when speaking about Switzerland, Mauro can't help but smile thinking of milk and chocolate, his guilty pleasures.

With projects lined up for 2024/25, including exhibitions in Rome, Florence, and beyond, Mauro Giampieri promises to continue delighting art and culture enthusiasts with impeccable and memorable events.
