Since April 1, 2023, an overdimenionated steel sculpture has stood in the entrance area of the Kunsthaus Zurich on a minimal footprint. The artists Andrea Stahl and Sarah Montani have brought the sculpture, which weighs tons, to stand at airy heights. A balancing act between static and gravity. "The sculpture is a symbol against the systematic forgetting of women in art," says sculptor Montani, who addressed the issue in a TED Talk in February 2023. The Kunsthaus has a current record of nearly 90% art by white, male artists. (n.t.)
