At the 28th International Fair for Contemporary Art in Zurich, Sarah Montani merges her artworks with old painting techniques and digitization. She creates her paintings using the 3,000-year-old encaustic technique, pouring and melting portraits of women from art magazines onto a wooden panel with wax. Alongside this, she creates digital sculptures that become visible in 3D via a QR code on a mobile phone.

Digital pioneer promotes Art of Women: Sarah Montani causes a worldwide sensation with her innovative art
June 14, 2023
A year ago, Sarah Montani invented a new kind of art called Sferism. Since then, it has been the talk of the world. Currently her works are shown in New York, later in Vienna. In terms of content, the artist from Salgesch Wallis Switzerland is primarily concerned with one thing: giving more importance to women in the art scene. We met her in Bern Switzerland in mid-May.
