Vera Noé is a prominent curator who has significantly influenced the art scene in the German-speaking world. With a passion for art in all its forms and impressive creativity, she has brought to the forefront the AR sculptures of artist Sarah Montani. Her pioneering work for Skulptura, one of the largest exhibitions in the German-speaking world, has made Noé a trailblazer. She overcame technical challenges and skillfully showcased augmented reality. Noé emphasizes the important role of women in the art world. She envisions her future in projects that build bridges through art and promote tolerance, empathy, and respect. Vera Noé is undoubtedly an inspiring figure in the art scene. The next exhibition of AR sculptures will be held on the occasion of Kunst 23 Zürich from 26th-29th October 2023. The exhibition showcases the representation of women in art history and is titled: 'Remembering the Future'.

**The Passionate Curator Vera Noé** has had a major influence on Skulptura, one of the largest sculpture exhibitions in the German-speaking world. She was the first curator to stage and curate AR sculptures, with digital works carefully selected to highlight their uniqueness and importance. For Noé, the essence of a competent curator lies in a deep passion for all forms of art.

When asked about the projects that have shaped her the most, Noé expresses equal affection and pride for each. Every project is a new challenge, an opportunity to explore and introduce new forms of representation with different artists and project groups. Each endeavor is a fabric of various artistic expressions, assembled through careful curation and a deep understanding of art. As a photographer, Noé operates in a digitalized world where smartphones have democratized photography. These devices have found their place, but they have also flooded our visual landscape with countless and indiscriminately produced images, often hindering professional photography. "The ubiquity of smartphones sometimes presents challenges, but both forms of photography have their rightful place and are essential for my projects," she acknowledges.

During Skulptura, Noé curated her first AR artworks (Augmented Reality) by Swiss artist Sarah Montani. These works, photographed and filmed in various locations including Lake Constance and Venice, made her one of the pioneers of live AR photography. Reflecting on this experience, she mentions, "The initial phase required great patience due to extensive data upload times and the specific lighting conditions needed for the AR sculptures. With practice and accumulated experience, however, I learned to captivatingly present AR sculptures, with moving images of AR artworks being my favorite form."

Noé sees the advent of live AR photography as an exciting addition to the artistic toolkit, expanding the spectrum of possibilities in visual representation. With current technology, satisfactory images can be produced without relying on photomontages to create impressive AR artworks.

Regarding the role of women in the art world, Noé emphasizes their invaluable contribution. "The creativity, sensitivity, and exploration of complex subjects by women have immensely enriched the art world. They are not only creators but also trailblazers for future generations of female artists who draw inspiration from their passion, originality, and determination," she stresses.

Looking ahead, Noé is involved in planning the 2024 art season for the Kunstverein Wasserburg/B., is organizing a sculpture exhibition in Austria alongside it, and is planning the 17th SKULPTURA, to be held in Wasserburg/B. in 2026.

Concluding the interview, Noé reflects on the universal language of art and its power to connect people worldwide, regardless of origin, religion, or race. Art builds bridges, promotes understanding and unity amidst diversity. Through art, we gain new perspectives, are prompted to think, and recognize the shared tapestry of emotions and dreams that define the human experience.

"Art teaches tolerance, empathy, and respect for diverse forms of expression and reminds us that we are all parts of a global creative network," Noé articulates.
