Jamie F.G
Jamie F.G is a 3D artist. He is the rising star of Digitalart. He creates artworks in co-creation with Sarah Montani and other international artists. He had his first artshow 22th october 2022 at ‘Tierlihuus’ in Switzerland, Aarwangen, where he showed the first Augmented Reality (AR) Artwork connected to a Encaustic painting - visible without an App. Then he exhibited two Digitalartworks in AR at Casa del Arte in Palma de Mallorca, the 29th October 2022. Las but not least, he is showing one more artwork in the Art District Wynwood during the Miami Art Basel Art Week, 3rd December 2022.
«His artworks push the limits of technical feasibility. Incredible what he gets out of technology with his savoir-faire. His artworks are detailed, amazing, magical. He is already one of the greats in digital art. Some of the artwork we've done together has been done under very uncomfortable circumstances, in a camping tent, without a chair or table. It's unimaginable to create such masterpieces under these circumstances. It is a top performance», says Sarah Montani.
He is travelling a lot and while we write this lines he is on the Greek island of Alonnisos. Although he loves camping, there’s nothing more he want than the sweet release of a comfortable bed from time to time. He startet his career when he was 16.
Growing up he had a difficult time with the traditional school, because Jamie is autistic. This is how it came to be home educated for a number of years by his mum, giving him a more alternate path with education, which is where his love for art and creation grew from. He discribes himself as Neurodiverse.
He followed his passion for many years creating personal projects and he has fallen in love with 3D art and the process of creation. Thanks to co-creation with other artists and customers he is now able to follow this path professionaly. He has collaborated with organizations and people all over the world. «This has opened my eyes to the possibilities of where I can take my work and people I want to work in collaboration with, to bring amazing thoughts and ideas to life. Of course I have many inspirations but the most prominent ones are the bohemian lifestyle I have taken up, my feelings and experiences throughout my life so far along with films like Spirited Away and Howls Moving Castle from Studio Ghibli. Dreamed up worlds just beyond our comprehension brimming with culture, magic and adventure. » says Jamie F.G.
Knowing that there’s people out there that value the same things that he does gives him energy and joy. «I want to continue working with projects just like this one with Sarah Montani. I believe as an artist you have to go and live. With that you have to take your experiences back to the creative domain. This is why my plan now is to travel the world.» Jamie F.G explains. For now he travells trough European countries, but in the next few years he wishes to go to India and Japan. The new experiences will inevitably make its way into his artwork.
