Co-creation

A great power immerges from co-creation. Co-creation empowers the creation of new breakthrough artworks, connected with the latest technology. It transforms the way artist work and share their art with the world. Augemented Reality redefines the way artists engange themselves in co-creation with other artists, but also with art collectors and art lovers.

First Waxpainting connected to AR of Europe in co-creation with Ursi Lysser

Ursi Lysser is the leading encaustic artist in Switzerland and one of the most famous encaustic artists of Europe. She is the first author of a german book about encaustik in Europe. In her book “Enkaustik: Malen mit Feuer & Wachs” she shares the secrets of wax painting. “What you want to ignite in others must burn in you”, says Augustinus Aurelius. Ursi Lysser burns for waxpainting, she is also a great teacher and a luminary.

Encaustic Painting: Lady of the forest

“The Letters on the painting are Asemic writing - without any meaning for others, only for me. Here I send a message to the universe or to a person i love. I included old legal documents to honor our past and our ancestors. I incorporate objects into my art which other people carelessly throw away. Thus I give them a new voice. I find a woman's portrait much more aesthetic than a man's portrait. I also appreciate woman, which still today in the 21st century must mostly stand in the back. Women artists have it twice as hard to show their work to the public. The forest is a place of silence in which I can really lose myself and recharge my batteries.

When I saw Sarah Montanis sphere for the first time, which she created from my picture, I was blown away. The Lady appears but soon disappears again. You want to run after her. It symbolize the woman artist that comes to the surface and shows her face - and then very quickly disappears again without real recognition.” Ursi Lysser

“It’s a great honor to reawaken this 3000 years old techique and bringing it into the future with augmented reality”, says Sarah Montani, who co-created the digital Artwork.

It is the first waxpainting connected to Augmented Reality of Europe.

“I love the face of the woman, the composition, and the leaves on this painting. Plants seem to grow wildly. But if you look up, you can see distances between the individual treetops even in the densest canopy. No tree touches another. This phenomenon is called "Crown Shyness". Pure nature, free, wild and self-organized. A model for us humans, schools, organizations: Self-regulation and self-organization with a minimal set of rules and processes, towards living learning and co-creation.”

The Vernissage of this artwork will be in Casa del Arte, Palma de Majorca, 29. October 2022 and in Tierlihuus in Aarwangen 21. October 2022.
